The Centenary Gents baseball team helped make Christmas special for a few more kids.
It is not unusual for the Diamond Gents to hold numerous camps during the year, but the even was extra special Wednesday night, December 13. Admission to the camp that afternoon was to bring a toy and canned food item.
The event was a success - 45 kids attended the camp, with all toys and canned food dropped off for "Operation Santa".
"It is so important for our young men to engage with our community and help people that are less fortunate," explained head coach Mike Diaz. "It was great to see our coaches and players genuinely excited to put on the holiday camp. I think it speaks volumes about the character of individuals that are apart of Centenary baseball."
