Errors Plague Diamond Gents in Midweek Loss to LeTourneau

SHREVEPORT, La. – The Diamond Gents struck first in the bottom of the first, but a key error led to four unearned runs in the third for the YellowJackets and the lead for good as Centenary (3-6) fell to LeTourneau (3-4) Tuesday night, February 20, at Shehee Stadium.

Trailing by six in the ninth, the Gents scored a pair of run thanks to LeTourneau errors. Senior Andrew Russell began the inning when he reached on a throwing error. He advanced to second on a wild pitch and moved up to third on sophomore Peyton Cormane's infield single. Senior Cameron Guin added an RBI groundout, but Cormane hustled to third and scored on a throwing error by the first baseman.
