2017 Sophomore Season: Qualified for USA Gymnastics Nationals on floor... Finished first among Division III athletes on floor with a regional qualifying score of 9.820... Competed in 12 meets... Named Midwest Independent Conference Specialist of the Week on January 31 after winning twice on floor the previous week: against Wisconsin-OshKosh on January 27 with a season best 9.875 and on January 29 against Air Force with a 9.800... Also won on beam with a 9.725 February 17 at Southeast Missouri State and on floor with a 9.875 against Lindenwood February 25 and at Alaska with a 9.850 on March 5...  Named a Scholastic All-American by the National Association of Gymnastics Coaches... Also earned MIC Academic All-Conference status.

2016 Freshman Season: Appeared in all 15 meets on floor with a season-best of 9.900... Competed on beam in 13 meets, and received an 8.450 in only time competing on bars... Her 9.900 at the USA Gymnastics Championships on floor made her a First Team All-American on the event, and was the best mark on the apparatus for a Centenary gymnast in a decade... Named MIC Specialist of the Week on February 16 and January 26... RQS of 9.750 on beam led NCAA Division III and ranked fifth in the MIC...  Won beam on her first time competing on the event against SE Missouri State January 22... Other event wins came on beam against UIC February 8 with a 9.825 and a season-best 9.850 against Iowa State and Texas Woman’s February 19.

 

Prior to Centenary: Competed for VEGA and head coaches Valentin Buse and Michelle Aspinwall... Honors include:

  • Regional Qualifier 2009-2015
  • Eastern National Qualifier 2011
  • Regional Beam and Floor Champion (2011)
  • Regional Runner-Up Beam (2015)

 

Navia is the daughter of Samuel and Jacqueline Jordan and has two brothers in Milan and Kristopher. Majoring in communications.
