Ladies Gymnastics Falls at Lindenwood

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Senior Navia Jordan claimed first on floor with a 9.825 and third on beam with a season best 9.800 to lead Ladies Gymnastics, but Centenary fell on the road at Lindenwood, 194.850-187.450 Sunday afternoon, February 24.

Jordan turned in the two-highest scorers of the night for the Ladies, tying Lindenwood's Andavea Alexander on floor with a 9.825. Jordan also placed third on beam with a 9.800. Ryan Henry won on the apparatus with a 9.850, also winning the all-around with a 39.050 to lead the Lions.

Freshman Kendall Sanders (37.600) and senior Tavia Smith (37.500) took second and third, respectively, in the all-around.

In other events, Lindenwood's Courtney Mitchell won on vault with a 9.875, while Samantha Borges claimed the bars crown with a 9.725.

Centenary returns to action Friday, March 1, when it hosts Air Force for senior day. First rotation is set for 6 p.m.
