Ladies Tournament Scenarios

With Trinity's win against Schreiner on Thursday night, February 15, the Ladies clinched a spot in the SCAC Tournament for the first time since the 2016 season. It is complicated to determine the exact seeding or opponent (there are multiple scenarios where Centenary is tied with one or more teams).

However, it is most likely the Ladies will be the fourth or fifth seed and play at 6 p.m. CST (5 p.m. MST) on Friday night, February 23.

However, if the Ladies fall Saturday night, Texas Lutheran beats Southwestern, and Trinity beats Schreiner, Centenary will drop to the sixth seed and play at 8 p.m. CST (7 p.m. MST). In that scenario, the Ladies will play Southwestern. The Pirates are the only team already assured of their seed in the Women's Tournament while Dallas is the only team to be eliminated.

Gents Tournament Scenarios

With a win, the Gents look as if they will be no worse than a third seed (thanks in part to important sweeps of Trinity and Colorado College). However, Centenary can move up to the second seed and receive a bye to the semifinal game at 3 p.m. (2 p.m. MST) on Saturday, February 24. Centenary will be the second seed if it wins, Trinity beats Schreiner, and Colorado College beats Dallas.

Even with a loss, Centenary looks as if it clinches the third seed with a Trinity loss. But, with a loss and Trinity win, the Gents could fall to the four seed (if Texas Lutheran beats Southwestern) or the five seed (if Southwestern beats Texas Lutheran).

The only seed already determined is Schreiner as the top seed after winning clinching the outright SCAC Regular Season Championship last night. Austin College has already been eliminated for the Tournament.

Fastest to 1,000

As you may know, Jasmine Morris hit 1,000 points in her 68th collegiate game, the fastest person to that milestone. On Thursday, February 15, KTAL caught up to Jasmine in the Gold Dome.
