Three Gents Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

SUWANEE, Ga. -- Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) men's soccer programs combined for 27 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections, announced on Tuesday, Nov. 21. Complete CSC Release

The 27 conference student-athletes range from six institutions. Southwestern University led the way with nine honorees followed by Colorado College with six. Trinity University placed four, Centenary College and Texas Lutheran University each placed three and Austin College saw two student-athletes earn recognition to round out the SCAC honorees.

Junior D Dylan Allred (Lafayette, La.), senior D Adam Bihler (Pittsburgh, Pa.), and junior F Ron Masti (Houston, Texas) represented the Gents on the prestigious team. 

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 19 (men) and December 20 (women). 

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
