Centenary Women's Soccer Ready for Home Opener

Shreveport, La. - The Centenary women's Soccer team opens its home season this evening as the Ladies face the LeTourneau YellowJackets in a non-conference match set for 5 p.m. at Mayo Field.

The Ladies, off to a 3-0 start this season, defeated Millsaps 5-2 in its last match last Wednesday. The five goals scored is the most for the program in a single game since defeating Louisiana College, 5-0, back in 2016. Centenary has scored nine goals in three games and has nine assists. The Ladies own a 45-18 advantage in shots this season.

LeTourneau comes into Tuesday's match at 1-1 on the young season after a victory over University of Dallas last Friday. The Ladies and YellowJackets last met during the 2017 season with Centenary claiming a 2-1 win at home.

Senior Migui Boldrin (Ribeiaro, Brazil), the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week earlier this month, lead the Ladies with four goals this season and has added two assists. Senior midfielder Betzabet Bravo Carmona (Katy, Texas) owns a pair of goals on the season and  Sydney Bascomb (Mesquite, Texas) has the team lead in assists with three.
