LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – On Monday, June 17, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offices announced that 19 Ladies and Gents student-athletes were named to the conference Winter Honor Roll following the 2019 spring semester.

In addition, 10 Centenary gymnasts were announced as Academic All-Conference honorees at the 2019 Midwest Independent Conference Championships Banquet on March 21.

To be named an SCAC Scholar Athlete, members of Ladies and Gents basketball and swimming needed to achieve at least a 3.25 GPA in the spring 2019 semester. Gymnasts needed to have a GPA of 3.25 or better for the fall 2018 semester to be named to the MIC Scholar-Athletes list.

Freshman swimmer Margot Frost was the only Centenary student-athlete to receive SCAC Academic Honor roll accolades following the fall 2018 and spring 2019 semesters. She earned recognition in the fall as a member of Ladies Soccer and in the spring as a member of the Ladies Swimming team.

Four athletes, all gymnasts, received academic All-Conference for the fourth time in their collegiate careers: seniors Mackenzie Packer, Elizabeth Sander, Natalie Scates, and Tavia Smith. In addition, seniors Savanah Doty (women's basketball), Harrison Folse (men's swimming), Navia Jordan (gymnastics), Mitchell Tarantolo (men's basketball), and junior Jessi Jordan (women's swimming) received their third Academic All-Conference recognition. Juniors Jericho Gray (men's basketball) and Dorothy Mims (gymnastics) appeared on the Academic All-Conference lists for the second time.

Seven Ladies and Gents received both Academic and Athletic All-Conference recognition. A day after receiving academic recognition, Jordan earned MIC All-Conference accolades on both beam and floor. For Ladies swimming, freshman Brianna Serret earned individual All-Conference finishes in both the 100 and 200 backstrokes. She and classmates Sarah Harrison and Kaylin Swoboda helped the 800 freestyle relay team finish with All-Conference distinction.

For Gents swimming, receiving Academic and Athletic SCAC All-Conference honors were senior Blake Smith and freshmen Mitchell Lulich and Miguel Vasquez. Vasquez finished All-Conference in the 100 backstroke. Vasquez, Lulich, and Smith were all members of All-Conference finishes in the 200 and 400 medley and 200 freestyle relays.
