IRVING, Texas – Coming off its best Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season finish in program history, fifth-seeded Centenary (17-17) takes on host Dallas (19-13) in the first match of quarterfinal action at 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 2.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – In a vote by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference’s head volleyball coaches, freshman Rachel Demerjian was named to the Second Team All-Conference squad. It is the third time in program history, and the second consecutive season, a Ladies Volleyball player has appeared on a non-freshman/newcomer All-Conference team.
HAWKINS, Texas – The Ladies Volleyball team finished .500 for the regular season for the first time in seven seasons as Centenary (17-17) completed the season sweep of Jarvis Christian (11-19) with a 25-20, 25-15, 19-25, 25-21 win Tuesday night, October 30.
SHREVEPORT, La. – After a tough loss by the Ladies to Texas Lutheran (9-21, 6-10 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) in five sets, 11-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-13, 15-12, Centenary (16-17, 7-9 SCAC) rebounded for a four set win against Schreiner (3-27, 2-14 SCAC) 23-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-20 Sunday afternoon, October 28.
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – History continues to be made for Ladies Volleyball when the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the seeding and bracket for the upcoming conference tournament, November 2-4 at Dallas in Irving, Texas. Centenary will take on host Dallas at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the first match of the quarterfinal.

GRAMBLING, La. – The Ladies used a big rally in set two to tie the match, but the Tigers took set three and four to close out the match as Centenary (14-15) fell to Grambling State (9-21) 25-22, 24-26, 25-17, 25-19 Wednesday night, October 24.

SHERMAN, Texas – For the third-straight year, the Ladies Volleyball team has won the most conference games in program history. In 2018, the Ladies achieved this end in a grueling four-set win against the ‘Roos as Centenary (13-14, 5-7 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) upended Austin College (13-14, 5-7 SCAC) 28-26, 20-25, 32-30, 25-23 in the SCAC Divisional in Sherman, Texas, Saturday, October 20.
COLORADO SPRINGS Colo. – The Ladies tied the program record for conference wins in the morning as Centenary (12-13, 4-6 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) knocked off Johnson & Wales (1-19, 1-10 SCAC) in five sets, 25-13, 17-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-11. However, the Ladies lost the final match of the weekend to #5 Colorado College (23-2, 10-1 SCAC) 25-21, 25-12, 25-10 at the 2018 Pike Peak’s Challenge in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Saturday afternoon, October 13.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After dropping the first two sets, the Ladies led by as much as 11 in the third before the Crusaders rallied as Centenary (11-12, 3-5 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) fell to Dallas (15-8, 5-4 SCAC) 25-21, 25-20, 29-27 at the Colorado College crossover Friday night, October 12.
SHREVEPORT, La. – The Ladies used 26 aces on the day en route to taking all six sets from the Owls as Centenary (11-11) swept Mississippi University for Women (2-18) in a pair of matches Saturday afternoon, October 6. The Ladies won match one 25-9, 25-12, 25-8 and took the second match 25-10, 25-11, 25-10.
SHREVEPORT, La. – Senior Shyann Pisano recorded her first double-double of her career with 10 kills and career bests with 14 digs and six aces, while classmate Michaela Brantley went 12-for-22 with no errors (.545) as Centenary (9-11) knocked off Jarvis Christian (8-11) 25-21, 25-14, 23-25, 25-19 Wednesday night, October 3.

GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Ladies got off to a fast start with a sweep of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference newcomer Johnson & Wales (0-12, 0-3 SCAC) 25-11, 25-17, 25-19. In the nightcap against the host Pirates, Centenary (7-8, 3-2 SCAC) fell to Southwestern (5-5, 4-1 SCAC) 25-21, 25-18, 25-18 Saturday afternoon, September 22.
GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Ladies nearly took the first set and came back for a win in the third against the Tigers, but fell to #5 Colorado College (15-0, 5-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) 25-22, 25-13, 22-25, 25-14. LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - After a pair of double-doubles and a near triple-double in a win against an NCAA Division I program, Ladies Volleyball's Rachel Demerjian was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on September 17. Demerjian and the volleyball team went 3-1 on the week and started 2-1 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
