Ladies Set For Millsaps College Volleyball Invitational

Jackson, Miss. – The Centenary volleyball team returns to action this weekend as the Ladies will play three non-conference matches in the Millsaps College Volleyball Invitational inside the Hangar Dome.

The Ladies (0-4) will face the Huntingdon College Hawks on Friday at 5 p.m. in their first match of the tournament followed by matches against the LeTourneau University YellowJackets on Saturday at Noon and finally against the host Majors at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Centenary and the host Majors will also be joined by Austin College, Belhaven University, McMurry University for the two-day event that features 12 total matches. Live stats and live video will be available for all three of the Ladies' matches at the links below:

The Ladies are back on the court for the first time since being swept 3-0 by the Grambling State University Tigers in a non-conference road contest on Sept. 3. Centenary finished that match with 29 digs, 12 kills, 11 assists, five aces, and three solo blocks

The Ladies, as a team, have tallied 69 assists, 18 aces, 10 solo blocks, 136 digs, and 72 kills. Hinze ranks fifth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in both aces per set (0.55) and assists per set (4.82).
