Ladies On Road For Midweek Matchup Against The Comets

Richardson, Texas – The Centenary volleyball team continue its stretch of road games, as they are set to face the Comets of the University of Texas-Dallas in a midweek match on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the UTD Activity Center.

The Ladies (0-7) went 0-3 this past weekend in the Millsaps Invitational in Jackson, Miss. while the Comets (2-2) split four matches in the Southwestern Fall Invitational to open their season.

Aces: Junior S Kristi Hinze (Shepherd, Texas) – 9

Assists: Hinze – 95

Blocks (Solo): Sophomore MB Bailee Henderson (Monroe, La.) – 8

Digs: Junior LB Daly Nagot (Benton, La.) – 56

Kills: Sophomore OH Alyssa Gatlin (Spring, Texas) – 30

The Ladies, as a team, have tallied 124 assists, 27 aces, 11 solo blocks, 242 digs, and 139 kills. Hinze ranks ninth and tenth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in both aces per set (0.43) and assists per set (4.52) respectfully.
