Junior F Layla Powell (Fort Worth, Texas) scored a team-best 14 points, tied with freshman F Anaya Yunusah (New Orleans, La.) on Saturday for the Ladies in their 84-44 loss to the University of the Ozarks Eagles in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Saturday in Clarksville, Ark. Powell played a season-high 35 minutes and was 5-12 from the floor, 3-56 from beyond the arc, and 1-1 at the free-throw line with a steal. She reached double figures for the fifth time this season and fourth game in a row.
