Avery Cauley was recognized on Sunday afternoon during the women’s basketball game in the Gold Dome as she cheered her final basketball game of the season in the Gold Dome and the multi-sport student-athlete has been busy as she and her teammates on the STUNT team opened the season on Feb. 8 to begin the program’s historic campaign. The STUNT program opened its inaugural and historic season with four games versus Southwest Baptist University and Connors State College in a tournament hosted by Connors State inside Warner Events Center in Warner, Okla. In game one, the Ladies shut out the Bearcats of SBU (DII school) with a 6-0 win and head coach Kaylee King noted that Cauley was one of Centenary’s key players on opening weekend.
