Morgan Crespo joins Centenary as head coach for new cross country and track and field teams
July 30, 2019Centenary director of athletics and recreation Marcus Manning has announced Morgan Crespo as head coach of the College's new cross country and track and field teams. Crespo will coach both the Ladies and the Gents' team in both sports which are slated to join Centenary's athletic offerings in the 2020-2021 academic year. -
51 Ladies and Gents Named to SCAC Honor Roll
June 20, 2019LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - On Wednesday, June 19, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference offices announced that 51 Ladies and Gents student-athletes were named to the conference’s Spring Honor Roll following the 2019 spring semester. The number represents an increase of 16 spring student-athletes from the 2018 spring semester.

Diamond Gents Split Regular Season Finale, Capture Third Seed in SCAC Tournament
April 28, 2019GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Diamond Gents entered the day knowing it needed a win to capture the third seed in the upcoming Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament, and they held on for a 9-7 win against the Pirates in game on to do just that. However, Centenary (18-21-1, 10-8 SCAC) fell in the final game to Southwestern (23-17, 10-8 SCAC) 16-2 Saturday afternoon, April 27.

Wild Day Sees Ladies Softball Finish Third at SCAC Tournament
April 28, 2019SHREVEPORT, La. – It looked as if Ladies Softball’s season might end early Saturday afternoon and then early evening, but they clawed back twice for come-from-behind wins before losing the nightcap in an extra-inning heartbreaker as Centenary (18-23) finished third in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Tournament for the third time in the last four seasons.

April 27, 2019SHREVEPORT, La. – Following a walk off win, 1-0, in the first game against Dallas (7-32), the Ladies dropped an extra-inning thriller to the Pirates as Centenary (16-22) lost in nine innings to Southwestern (34-4) 3-2 in the nightcap of the first day of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Tournament.
