Katie Kyzar starts her first year at Centenary College as the assistant athletic trainer in 2018-19.
The Ellisville, Mississippi, native comes to Centenary after being a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Rehab Associates in Montgomery, Alabama. She was an outreach athletic trainer for Edgewood Academy, providing coverage for all of their athletics during the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 seasons.
Prior to that, Kyzar served as an intern athletic trainer at Millsaps College for the 2015-2016 season.
She is starting her fourth year as a nationally certified athletic trainer and is currently licensed in the state of Louisiana.
Kyzar received her bachelors of science degree in athletic training from Delta State University in 2015 and her masters of education degree in sports management from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2018.
She is the daughter of Jake and Candace Kyzar and has one brother, Kevin.
