Rising sophomore Peyton Cormane of the Centenary Gents baseball team played for the Chillicothe Mudcats of the M.I.N.K. Collegiate Baseball Summer League Team in the summer of 2018. He was recently selected to play for the Newton Rebels in the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kansas.
In 38 games with the Mudcats this summer, Cormane batted .246 with 29 hits, 38 runs, three doubles, three triples, and 23 RBIs. His 37 stolen bases easily led the M.I.N.K. League.
