Ladies Gymnastics Finishes Regular Season at Missouri Quad

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Ladies Gymnastics team finished the regular season Friday night, March 15, at Missouri. Minnesota won the quad meet with a 196.900, while the host Tigers and Michigan finished tied for second with a 196.800. Centenary finished with a 189.200.

Junior Cami Bea Austin received the highest score of the night, tying a career high with a 9.800 on vault to finish tied for eighth. Senior Tavia Smith bumped up her all-around RQS by more than a tenth, receiving a 38.150 – her fourth 38+ total in the last five meets.

Senior Elizabeth Sander led the Ladies on beam, tying a season best with a 9.700.

Natalie Wojcik for Michigan took the all-around (39.625) and vault (9.975) titles. Olivia Karas took the bars (9.925) and floor (9.925) crowns for the Wolverines. Tiarre Sales of Minnesota won on beam with a 9.950 while Morgan Porter of Missouri tied Karas on floor.

Centenary returns to action Friday night, May 22, when it hosts the 2019 Midwest Independent Conference Championships. First rotation is set for 6 p.m.
