On Monday night, November 5, the Centenary Athletic Department will host the inaugural "Monday Mania." The event will last two hours, from 5-7 p.m.

#MondayMania18 will introduce all of the winter athletic teams as well as include exhibition routines from Ladies Gymnastics and intrasquad scrimmages for both Ladies and Gents Basketball. The Ladies Soccer team will also be recognized for its academic excellence in 2017-18 and junior Kyra Montes for her United Soccer Coaches Player of the Week award earlier this season.

Centenary will also honor a student-athlete with the annual Michael Schimpf Leadership Award. This award recognizes a senior student-athlete who has shown leadership at Centenary on and off the athletic field and is planning to pursue post-graduate studies.

Also during #MondayMania18, the 2018 Centenary Homecoming Court will be announced. The night will conclude with the Ladies and Gents Basketball teams squaring off in a three-point competition, followed by a dunk contest by Gents Basketball.

#MondayMania18 kicks off the Homecoming Week for Ladies and Gents Athletics, which includes the 2018 Centenary Hall of Fame Induction ceremony on Friday, November 9. On Saturday, the Ladies and Gents Swimming teams take on Southwestern at 11 a.m. in the Fitness Center. To conclude the day, the Centenary basketball teams take on Hardin-Simmons in the Gold Dome to begin the 2018 season. The doubleheader begins with the Ladies against the Cowgirls at 1 p.m., shortly followed by the Gents and Cowboys at 3 p.m.
