Shreveport - The Centenary Dance Team, "The Leading Ladies" had an impressive performance on Saturday at the American Allstar Competition held at the Shreveport Convention Center.
The Leading Ladies showed out at the first in-person competition of the season as they saw improved scores in their hip hop routine earning 8/10s in suitability and uniformity. The team also received positive marks for their strong motions and notable tricks.
Centenary was back in action for the first time since competing at the American Dance/Drill Team Halftime Virtual Showcase on October 26 in which they received a Division 1 ranking - the highest possible ranking out of four divisions. The Ladies received a score of 285/300 overall receiving 95/100, 94/100, and 96/100 per judge. The team also received the Judges Award in Hip Hop.
