A graduate of McMurry University, Reeves earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Communication, Kinesiology, and Multimedia. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.8 GPA and was named to the 2023 Collegiate Sports Communicators Division III Men’s Swimming Academic All-District Team. Reeves brings hands-on experience in athletic communications through summer internships at Texas Wesleyan University, Texas Christian University, and Arlington Baptist University. In these roles, he contributed to live stat operations, athletic website maintenance (SIDEARM and Presto), video production (Hudl/BlueFrame), social media content creation, and press release writing using platforms such as StatCrew, NCAA Live Stats, DakStats, and PrestoSports.

While at McMurry, he served as a student Sports Statistician, managing live data input and statistical analysis for more than 70 contests. His attention to detail, creativity, and consistency made him a key contributor in enhancing the school’s athletic media coverage.

Reeves also applied his professional skills in media and gameday operations to assist the University of Dallas Athletics Department, further expanding his impact within collegiate athletics.

Outside of his professional work, Reeves is an avid sports fan. He follows multiple professional and college sports teams.
