
Track & Field Earns 10th-Place Finish On Saturday
The Centenary men's and women's track and field teams finished 10th in the annual Cowboy Relays Bob Hayes Louisiana Challenge hosted by McNeese State University as the Maroon and White tallied 20 total points at the Bill and Lena Henning Track and Field Complex.

Sophomore Christian Cormier (Lafayette, La.) finished seventh in the men's 100 meters (10.75)
Freshman Grayson Shugart (McKinney, Texas) and sophomore Mackenzie Haley (Orange, Texas) finished 12th (4.79m) and 14th (4.60m) respectively in the women's long jump and Shugart earned a 22nd-place finish in the women's 100 meters (13.41).
Freshman Dwayne Mills Jr. (Slidell, La.) finished seventh in the men's long jump and freshman Jay Scott (Slidell, La.) was 10th (6.24m). The men's team of freshman Richard Ross (Normangee, Texas), freshman Clayton Hancock (Buna, Texas), sophomore Herman Pride (Baton Rouge, La.), and freshman Philip Hughes (Bossier City, La.) finished sixth in the 1600-meter run (4:01.03).
Centenary returns to action next weekend in the Belhaven Invitational in Jackson, Miss.
