The Gents (0-1) are eager to return to the field having not played in almost a full month after dropping their season opener, and lone game of the season so far, at home to LeTourneau by a score of 2-0 on Jan. 30. ETBU (1-1) is likely just as hungry has had its last two matches postponed or cancelled due to weather and will be in action for the first time since a 1-0 win over Louisiana College on Feb. 12. Centenary also had a home match against LSUS cancelled on Feb. 10 (originally scheduled for Jan. 23) and their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference opener versus Trinity scheduled for this past Saturday, Feb. 20 at home postponed due to weather. The rescheduled date is currently being discussed and should be announced soon.

The Gents and Tigers were originally scheduled to meet on Feb. 5 in Marshall, Texas but the game was postponed due to severe weather. Tuesday's game was then going to be made up and played on ETBU's campus but the recent winter storm made the Tigers' field unplayable and thus moving to the game to Mayo Field. Tuesday will mark the fifth all-time meeting between the teams in a series that is tied 2-2.

Gents' junior goalkeeper Sami Borchalli (Lafayette, La.) played all 90 minutes in the Gents' season opener back on Jan. 30 and took the loss as he allowed the two goals, and made two saves. Borchalli earned Honorable Mention all-conference honors last season as he played in 14 games with 13 starts, totaling 1272:06 of total playing time and collected 94 saves, the seventh-best total in a single season in the division III era.

He posted a 1.63 goals against average, the second-best GAA in a single season in the division III era and also recorded four shutouts, second-most in a single season in the division III era and tied for first in the SCAC. His goals against average ranked eighth in the SCAC, he ranked second in the conference in save percentage of .803 and saves. He also led the SCAC in saves per game (6.71).

Centenary will face Dallas at Mayo Field on March 6 at Noon in its next scheduled game followed by Austin College in another home match on March 13 at 7 p.m. The Gents then hit the road for three matches in a row beginning with a contest at St. Thomas on March 20 followed by matches at Colorado College (March 27) and Southwestern on April 3.

The Gents face Schreiner on April 10 for Senior Day in their home finale and then finish the regular season at Texas Lutheran on April 17. Centenary then will serve as host for the 2021 SCAC Men's Soccer Championship on April 23 and 25 at Mayo Field.
