Conway, Ark. – The Centenary men's and women's track and field teams will open their seasons on Saturday as the Ladies and Gents will compete in Hendrix Alumni Open at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.

"We are excited about the start of the outdoor track and field season this weekend," said Centenary head coach Joseph Moses Jr.

"The men and women have been working really hard for the opener. We are looking forward to having a very good season and a solid showing at the conference championship meet in April."

The Ladies and Gents are back in action for the first time since the 2021 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships last April in Seguin, Texas.

The Ladies finished fifth and earned nine points while the Gents placed ninth. Centenary was making its program debut in the annual event.
