Sophomore DH Turner Mclelland (Minden, La.) went 3-8 in the with a pair of doubles in two games last weekend in the 2026 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship at La Moderna Field in Cleburne, Texas. He went 3-4 versus Concordia University in Centenary’s tournament opener on Thursday, his eighth multi-hit game of the season and third three-hit performance of the season. Mclelland had a big season for the Diamond Gents as he hit .326 with a .477 OBP and slugged .570. He finished with 28 hits, 20 RBI, 14 BB, 22 runs scored, six doubles, three triples, and three homers.
