Ladies Finish Eighth In Crusader Cup

The Centenary women's golf team shot a 213-over par 789 to finish eighth in the Crusader Cup hosted by the University of Dallas as the Ladies began their spring season at Hackberry Creek Country Club.

Freshman Zoe Garcia (Magnolia, Texas) made her season debut for the Ladies on Monday.

The Centenary softball team lost its final two games of the Belhaven University Tournament on Saturday, falling 9-0 in five innings to Hardin-Simmons University and 14-1 in five innings to the nationally-ranked and host Belhaven Blazers at McLeod Field.

Sophomore A Noah Walsh led the Gents with five goals on Saturday in their win over Huntingdon College.

The Centenary baseball team split a non-conference doubleheader with the George Fox University Bruins on Friday, winning game one by a score of 9-3 and falling 4-1 in game two at the Curtis and Margaret Morse Athletic Fields.

The Ladies lost twice on Friday in the Belhaven University Tournament and will play again on Saturday.
