Shreveport - The Centenary Cheer and Dance Teams wrapped up their final competition of the semester with both teams claiming first place in their division at the World Class Cheerleading Virtual Championship last weekend.

Cheer put out a solo game day performance and received impressive scores in crowd effectiveness, execution of motions and skills, and category impression. 

Dance received high scores for their hip-hop routine in uniformity, synchronization, movement technique, and showmanship. The scores posted for the Leading Ladies' hip-hop routine were some of the highest received all season.
