Little Rock, Ark.– The Centenary men's and women's track and field teams will compete in the 2022 Little Rock Twilight on Friday at the Coleman Sports & Recreation Complex.
Live stats will be available for the meet and a live broadcast on ESPN+ will also be available. The meet will begin at 4 p.m. will a rolling schedule.

The field includes the host Little Rock Trojans, Central Arkansas, Grambling, Namibia Olympic Team, Arkansas Tech, Central Baptist, Freed-Hardeman, Lyon, Missouri Valley, Ouachita Baptist, Rust, Southeastern Oklahoma, Southern Arkansas, UA-Fort Smith, UA-Rich Mountain, and Williams Baptist.
Centenary is coming off a solid showing last weekend in the East Texas Invitational hosted by Texas A&M-Commerce in Commerce, Texas. Sophomore Devante' Jack (Jena, La.) had the top individual finish of the day of all the Ladies and Gents as he ran a time of 1:58.00 in the men's 800-Meter Run to place 11th. Freshman Madeline Vacula (Belton, Texas) had the Ladies' best finish of the meet as she placed 17th in the Women's 1500-Meter Run with a time of 5:24.56.
Junior Sydney Bascomb (Mesquite, Texas) finished 22nd in the women's 100-Meter Dash with a time of 13:06. Senior Veronica Dougherty (McAllen, Texas) finished 33rd in the Women's 1500 (6:09.16), Sophomore Coby Harris (Lafayette, La.) and freshman Deandre Gonzales (San Antonio, Texas) finished 28th and 35th respectively in the Men's 100-Meter Dash. Harris ran a time of 11.49 and Gonzales ran a 11.77. The team of Harris, Gonzalez, Jack, and senior Payton Lii (Dallas, Texas) placed seventh in the Men's 4 x 100 Meter Relay as they ran a time of 44.82.
Centenary has recorded six top-15 individual finishes as well as six top-five finishes men and women combined this season.
