Many, La. – The Centenary women's golf team tees off in the Bash at the Bend hosted by Hardin-Simmons University on Monday at Cypress Bend Resort.

The host Cowgirls and Ladies will be joined by East Texas Baptist University, Howard Payne University, McMurry University, Schreiner University, Southwestern University, and Texas Lutheran University. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. on Monday and wraps up on Tuesday.
The Ladies are back in action after they finished second in a dual match against Southern University last week at Oakwing Golf Club in Alexandria, La. The Ladies shot an 85-over par 373 and were led by an 18-over par 90 from freshman Haylee Crowder (Haughton, La.).
Crowder earned the Ladies' top finish of their season-opening tournament, the 2024 SCAC Preview in Whitney, Texas last month. Crowder finished 15th to finish 37-over par 181 (93-88). The Ladies finished fifth in the SCAC Preview as they shot a +188 (764)
The rest of the Ladies' lineup this week will consist of junior Kaylee Roberts (Watonga, Okla.), freshman Amber Shaw (Hughes Springs, Texas), sophomore Jordyn Templeton (Columbus, Texas), and sophomore Mya Thompson (South Jordan, Utah).
