Men's Golf Finishes Second in  Wildcat Invitational

Alexandria, La. - The Centenary men's golf team finished second in the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Louisiana College, on Thursday at Links on the Bayou.

The Gents, coming off of a runner-up finish in their annual home tournament last week, the Hal Sutton Invitational, shot a 328 while Louisiana College's "A" team won the tournament with a 318 and its "B" team placed third.

Senior Harrison John (Lafayette, La.) shot the Gents' lowest round of the day with a seven-over par 79, senior Brodey Warner (Brookeland, Texas) shot an 8-over par 80, freshman Ricky Blair (Bossier City, La.) shot an 84, and sophomore Richard Polan (Brno, Czech Republic) shot a 13-over par 85. Freshman Riley Chase (Crosby, Texas) was one shot behind Polan with a 14-over 86.

Senior Gage Garber (Coppell, Texas) and sophomore Devan Martin (Watson, La.) each played as individuals and both shot identical 14-over par 86's.

Next up for the Gents is a match against Hendrix on Saturday, April 3 in Little Rock, Ark.
