The Gents (2-1-1) completed a perfect weekend at home with a pair of impressive wins over Huntingdon College (5-2) on Sunday preceded by a 2-0 win over Mississippi University for Women last Friday. The Panthers (2-1-1) will open the tournament on Friday against LeTourneau University (2-2) at 6 p.m. Berry College (1-3-2) is the fourth team competing this weekend. The Vikings will face LeTourneau at 5 p.m. on Saturday and then the Gents and Vikings square off in the weekend finale on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Centenary's five goals in the win over Huntingdon is the most scored since the Maroon and White's 5-0 win over Dallas Christian College in the season opener last season. Centenary has now also equaled last season's win total. Birmingham-Southern is coming off of a 3-2 loss to Wabash College on Sunday in Rome, Ga.

Junior F Ron Masti (Houston, Texas) leads the Gents with a pair of goals this season and scored one in the second half of Sunday's win and is also the team leader in points with four. Senior F/MF Michael Smith (Baton Rouge, La.) scored his first-career goal in the Huntingdon match and also had an assist. Senior F Rene Escobar (Cypress, Texas) converted on a penalty kick on Sunday for his first goal of the season, senior F Quentin Helm (Denton, Texas) scored a goal, and senior MF Colton Howard (Keller, Texas) had a goal and an assist. Escobar, Smith and Howard each finished with a goal and an assist.

Junior Casey Clemo (Forney, Texas) went the distance on Sunday and made one save as the Centenary defense held the Hawks to just nine shots and a pair of corner kicks as scoring opportunities were limited. Clemo earned his first-career shutout in Friday's 2-0 win over MUW and has five saves so far this season. The Gents received goals from freshman F Carter Webb (Flower Mound, Texas) and junior D Dylan Allred (Lafayette, La.) in the win over MUW.

The Gents are 3-1 all-time against Birmingham-Southern but will be facing Berry for the first time.
