Ladies In Third Place Headed To Final Round Of Hal Sutton Invitational
The Centenary women's golf team shot a 90-over par 378 on Monday and is in third place in its annual home tournament, the Hal Sutton Invitational, as the Ladies will play their final round on Tuesday at The Golf Club at Stonebridge.
Bossier City – The Centenary women's golf team shot a 90-over par 378 on Monday and is in third place in its annual home tournament, the Hal Sutton Invitational, as the Ladies will play their final round on Tuesday at The Golf Club at Stonebridge.
Tuesday's final round is set for 9 a.m. with an awards ceremony afterward. The women's field is being tested by a par-72, 5,714-yard course. The Ladies finished fourth in last year's event.

The women's field includes the host Ladies, Blinn, Hendrix College, Howard Payne University, Jacksonville (TX) College, Louisiana Christian University, McMurry University, Millsaps College, Texas Lutheran University, and Tyler Junior College.
Freshman Haylee Crowder (Haughton, La.) led the way for the Ladies on Monday as she shot a 19-over par 91 and is tied for 12th place. Freshman Amber Shaw (Hughes Springs, Texas) shot a 20-over 92 and is tied for 16th, sophomore Jordyn Templeton (Columbus, Texas) is in a tie for 22nd place at 24-over par 96, and sophomore Mya Thompson (South Jordan, Utah) is tied for 26th after shooting a 27-over par 99.
Blinn College's Daniah Syed is the individual leader after shooting an even-par 72 and is three shots ahead of a pair of golfers - Annie Piggott of Millsaps College and Ayana Dailey of Tyler Junior College as they each shot a 3-over par 75. Syed's leading round has her Blinn team atop the team leaderboard at 36-over par 324 and two shots ahead of Tyler JC (+38 – 326). Jacksonville (TX) College is fourth at 389 (+101). Hendrix, Howard Payne, Millsaps, and TLU each have three golfers competing.
