Tennis Teams Fall To Texas Lutheran At Home

Shreveport – The Centenary tennis teams dropped matches to Texas Lutheran at home on Sunday morning. The Ladies lost, 9-0, and the Gents fell by a score of 7-2.

The Maroon and White was playing its second-straight match after dropping a pair of decisions on Saturday at Texas A&M-Texarkana on the road.

Ladies' sophomore London Todd (Shreveport) dropped a thrilling and hard-fought singles No. 3 match to TLU's Madison Starr in the highlight of the day for the Maroon and White. The match which went to a match-deciding 10-point tiebreaker after the players split the first two sets. Starr won the 10-point tiebreaker 10-8.

The Ladies will face LSU-S at home on Saturday, Feb. 15 a time to be determined. The Gents are on the road at Southern Arkansas on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.
