Centenary Soccer Teams Remain Red Hot

Shreveport - The Centenary soccer teams completed a weekend sweep of Austin College and the University of Dallas on Friday and Sunday at Mayo Field as both teams continued their excellent play as Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Play begins this coming weekend.

The Ladies (8-0) defeated Austin College 3-0 Friday and the Crusaders, 2-1 Sunday while the men (4-2) pitched their second shutout of the weekend on Sunday, defeating U-Dallas 1-0 after blanking Austin College by the same score on Friday. The Maroon and White continue to sit atop the SCAC standings and are off to the best start in program history. The Gents have won three-straight matches, all shutouts, and have not allowed a goal in two weeks.
