Senior Night Celebrations Highlight Busy Night For Centenary Athletics

Shreveport - Senior Night celebrations were held on Friday evening at both the Gold Dome and Mayo Field as the Centenary volleyball team and soccer teams were in action.

The women's soccer team continued its stellar season with a 2-1 victory over Texas Lutheran in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play to improve to 15-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play.

The volleyball Ladies lost, 3-0, to Texas-Dallas in non-conference play and finished their season at 11-24 overall and 7-11 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The men's soccer team fell, 6-1, to Texas Lutheran in SCAC action and sit at 8-7 overasll and 3-5 in the SCAC.

The soccer teams play host to Southwestern on Sunday in a SCAC doubleheader set for Noon (women) and 2 p-.m. (men) at Mayo Field in the regular season finales for each team.
