Shreveport - The Centenary Competitive Cheer team will compete in the World Spirit Association VIP Shreveport Event on Saturday at the Shreveport Convention Center.

The team will take the floor during the morning session at 10:35 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. This will be the last competition for the team before they head to nationals in two weeks. The team will once again put out their game day and traditional routines to gain judges' feedback. 

"I look forward to seeing the items that we worked on during this past week take the floor one last time before nationals," said head coach Kaylee King.

"Receiving this level of judges' feedback really gives us an advantage heading into the national competition. We're working for program high scores and hit zero routines."

Centenary is coming off of an impressive performance in the Star Spirit Productions - Southern Bid Bash last weekend in Baton Rouge.
