Gents Complete Action In ETBU Tiger Invitational

Marshall, Texas - The Centenary men's and women's cross country teams completed action in the Tiger Invitational hosted by East Texas Baptist University on Friday which was highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the women's 6K run by sophomore Madeline Vacula (Belton, Texas) at Marshall City Arena.

Vaula ran a time of 25:22.2 and finished ahead of 30 other runners. ETBU's Phoebe Dunham won with a time of 24:44.2.

The Ladies and Gents were joined by the host Tigers, Belhaven University men and women, Concordia (TX) men's and women's teams, Millsaps College (M/W), Ozarks (Ark.) men and women, LeTourneau University men and women, the Jacksonville College men's team, Jarvis Christian College men, and Lane College men.

Centenary was back in action for the first time in over a month as the Maroon and White last competed in the Texas A&M-Texarkana University Collegiate XC Invitational on Sept. 9. Vacula had her second-consecutive impressive meet after she finished third overall in the Women's 5000 meter run with a time of 21.15.0 in Texarkana.
