Connor Irvin Finishes 71st At SCAC Championships

Georgetown, Texas - The Centenary men's and women's cross country teams finished action at the 2022 Southern Collegiate Athletic Cross Country Championships on Saturday.

Southwestern University served as the host and Eight of the nine SCAC member schools competed alongside Centenary – the host Pirates as well as Colorado College, Dallas, Schreiner, St. Thomas, Texas Lutheran, and Trinity. Colorado College recorded a sweep by winning both the men's and women's titles.

Ladies' sophomore Madeline Vacula (Belton, Texas) finished 28th out of 69 runners as she ran a time of 24:51.20. Freshman Connor Irvin (Lafayette, La.) finished 71st out of 80 male runners with a time of 32:06.30. Centenary did not record a team finish on either the men's or women's side, as Vacula and Irvin were the only two participants for the Maroon and White in the event.
