Shreveport – The Centenary women's golf program has announced its 2022-23 season schedule, head coach Emlyn Aubrey announced on Thursday.
The Ladies will begin their season on Monday, Oct. 3 in the Tempest Intercollegiate at the Tempest Golf Club in Gladewater, Texas and hosted by LeTourneau University. The final round will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
"I am sorry to see the talents of Abigail Hayes and Lindsay Strohm graduate and move on, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing junior Madison Wing (Bossier City, La.) and sophomore Kiley Smith (Fort Worth, Texas) continue their progression towards career scoring averages this coming season," said Aubrey.
"I am also very excited to have freshman Kaylee Roberts (Watonga, Okla.) joining the Ladies this year to help us reach our goals. Play hard and play fun, Ladies!"
Centenary wraps up its fall season with the Crusader Invitational Oct. 24-25 hosted by the University of Dallas at the WinStar Golf Club in Thackerville, Okla.
The complete spring schedule will be announced soon. The 2023 Southern Collegiate Men's and Women's Golf Championships will be held April 17-18 at a site to be determined soon.
The Ladies finished sixth at last season's SCAC Championships in Blanco, Texas as they shot a + 219 – 795
