Gymnastics Announces Schedule Changes

Shreveport - The Centenary gymnastics team has announced a change in its schedule for this weekend as the Ladies will now participate in the TWU Quad 1 hosted by Texas Woman's University on Friday at 6 p.m. in Denton, Texas at Kitty Magee Arena.

Centenary will be joined by the host Pioneers, No. 6 LSU, and No. 30 Pittsburgh. The Ladies were scheduled to face the University of New Hampshire and Long Island University in a tri-meet on Friday in Durham, N.H. and then complete the weekend against Springfield College, Rhode Island College, and Southern Connecticut State in a quad meet on Feb. 27 in Springfield, Mass.

Centenary and TWU, a division II school ranked 47th in the country, will meet for a second time this season after the Ladies finished second in a Midwest Independent Conference dual meet on Jan. 30 in Denton. The teams will also see each other again next month as the Ladies will host the Pioneers on Saturday, March 12 at 6 p.m. on Senior Night. The Ladies will also face LSU for the second time this season after the two met in the season opener on Jan. 7 in Baton Rouge.

The Ladies posted a final team score of 187.175 and earned another runner-up finish to the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves in a non-conference dual meet on Feb. 13 in their most recent action. Centenary also placed second to the Seawolves on Feb. 11 with their second-highest score (187.500) of the season.

Centenary is currently ranked 69th in the country in the latest Road to Nationals rankings.
