The Ladies and Gents held their annual Intrasquad/Alumni Meet on Nov. 4 to cap off a successful fall season in which they competed in five meets. Wednesday's meet is the second-consecutive meeting against the Majors after Centenary recorded 13 individual victories, 40 top-five finishes and seven runner-up finishes on Oct. 28 in Flowood, Miss. The meet also marks the sixth of the season for the Majors.

Centenary has recorded an impressive 130 top-five finishes this season and the Ladies and Gents combined for 15 runner-up finishes and 27 individual wins. The Maroon and White recorded an impressive 57 top-five finishes in a pair of meets against McMurry University in Abilene, Texas on Oct. 13-14 after tallying 33 in its two season-opening meets Oct. 6-7.

Centenary started off the season by sweeping the conference's individual honors as  a pair of rookies, freshman Reece Esser (Huntsville, Texas) and freshman Nick Gordon (Aurora, Colo.) were named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's and men's Swimmer of the Week respectively.

Esser and Gordon are just two of a handful of impressive rookies who have made an immediate impact for the Ladies and Gents this season. Freshman Hannah Waddell (Shreveport, La.) and freshman Ubaldo Ayala (Hallsville, Texas) have each posted multiple individual wins during the fall and freshman Cicely Jackson (Lafayette, La.), freshman Allie Matherne (Cut Off, La.), freshman Sydney Welch (Moss Bluff, La.), freshman Kennadi St. Clair (Duncanville, Texas), and freshman Stacy Brown (Baytown, Texas), and freshman Gunnar Durham (Lufkin, Texas) have all recorded top-5 or top-10 finishes.

Centenary's overall success is also due to the consistent performance of its veterans such as junior Madeline Vacula (Belton, Texas), senior Antonio Barbee (Plaquemine, La.), senior Anacelia Galeano-Balam (Baton Rouge, La.), and senior Aiden Peterkin (Zachary, La.) along with sophomore Jameson Feeney (Shreveport, La.), and sophomore Adriana de la Fuente (Baton Rouge, La.).

Centenary will compete in the Austin College Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 13 in Sherman, Texas at 1 p.m. and then returns home on Saturday, Jan. 20 against the 'Roos again for its annual Senior Day Meet set for 1 p.m.
