Shreveport - The Centenary men's and women's swimming teams will celebrate their annual Senior Day on Saturday as the Ladies and Gents welcome the Austin College 'Roos to town for a dual meet set for 1 p.m. inside the Centenary Fitness Center.

Centenary will honor its senior class - Anacelia Galeano-Balam (Baton Rouge, La.) Antonio Barbee (Plaquemine, La.), and Aiden Peterkin (Zachary, La.) as well as junior Madeline Vacula (Belton, Texas) who will be graduating early.
The Ladies and Gents each finished fourth last weekend in the Austin College Invitational in Sherman, Texas as the Ladies earned 234 points while the Gents tallied 212. Centenary earned a victory over Millsaps College on Jan. 10 by a combined team score of 231-207 in which the Ladies and Gents recorded an impressive 42 top 10's. The Gents earned 14 individual top-10 finishes and the Ladies had 10.
Vacula and freshman Reece Esser (Huntsville, Texas) highlighted the effort on the women's side against Millsaps last week with three individual wins apiece, and freshman Hannah Waddell (Shreveport, La.) and Galeano-Balam each picked up a pair of wins. Freshman Ubaldo Ayala (Hallsville, Texas), Barbee, and freshman Nick Gordon (Aurora, Colo.) paced the men's side with two wins each.
Galeano-Balam, Barbee, Peterkin, and Vacula have combined for an incredible eight individual wins, seven runner-up finishes, 33 top-five finishes, and 46 top 10's this season.

The Maroon and White will be off for three weeks in preparation for the annual Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships set for Feb. 14-17 in Garland, Texas.
