Lynnette Taylor Joins Women's Basketball Coaching Staff
Lynnette Taylor has joined the Centenary women’s basketball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant, head coach Paul Reed and Director of Athletics and Recreation David Orr have announced.
Shreveport – Lynnette Taylor has joined the Centenary women's basketball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant, head coach Paul Reed and Director of Athletics and Recreation David Orr have announced.
Taylor, a native of Logansport, La., will assist Reed and first-year assistant coach Chrys Jackson along with fellow volunteer assistant Matthew Graham this season.
Taylor began her coaching career as an Assistant Coach at her alma mater Southern University at Shreveport where she also played for the Lady Jags. She also received her Associate Degree in Sociology from Southern University at Shreveport.
Taylor also received her Bachelor Degree in General Studies with a minor in science from Northwestern State University. She recently graduated with her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University at Shreveport.
The Ladies will play a pair of exhibition contests in preparation for their 2024-25 season – Oct. 30 at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and on Nov. 4 at Grambling State University before tipping off the regular season at Hendrix College on Sunday, Nov. 10.
