Shreveport - The Centenary women's basketball team lost 68-54 to the University of the Ozarks Eagles in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest and the league opener for both teams on Wednesday evening inside the Gold Dome.
The Ladies (1-6, 0-1 SCAC) lost their fifth game in a row and fell to 0-3 at home this season. The Eagles (5-1, 1-0 SCAC) won their fifth game in a row and are 2-1 on the road this season.
Centenary returns to action on Saturday for a non-conference contest at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas at 3 p.m.
