Lacrosse Falls on Road to  Colorado College on Friday

Colorado Spring, Colo. - The Centenary lacrosse team fell 25-1 to the Colorado College Tigers on Friday afternoon in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match at Washburn Field.

The Gents (1-7, 1-2 SCAC) received their lone goal from sophomore A John Mark Waniewski (Bossier City, La.) as he found the net early in the third period for his fourth goal of the season. Freshman M/A Jordan Cook (Bryant, Ark.) was credited with the assist, his second of the season.

Colorado College (6-1, 2-0 SCAC) led 10-0 after the first period and 13-0 at halftime and then scored 12 second half goals. Thirteen different Tigers scored, led by four from Philip Gisler. Matt Spencer and Brant Billingsley each scored three.

A pair of Centenary freshmen, Wikenson Julien (Immokalee, Fla.) and Matthew Lulich (New Orleans, La.) led the Gents with two ground balls apiece.

Centenary goalkeeper Thomas Siskron (Shreveport) played all 60 minutes and collected 16 saves and now has 121 saves this season and an impressive 242 career saves.
