Lacrosse Falls to Colorado College on Sunday

Colorado Spring, Colo. - The Centenary lacrosse team lost 29-6 to the Colorado College Tigers on Sunday afternoon in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match at Washburn Field.

The Gents (1-8, 2-3 SCAC) wrapped up their weekend in Colorado after previously falling, 25-1, to the Tigers on Friday. Colorado College (7-1, 3-0 SCAC) led 6-0 at the end of the first quarter and 14-0 at halftime.

Centenary received two goals each from freshman M/A Jordan Cook (Bryant, Ark.) and sophomore A/M Mark Temple (Houston, Texas), and one apiece from sophomore A John Mark Waniewski (Bossier City, La.) and freshman M Jacob Miller (Liberty Hill, Texas). Temple and Waniewski each had an assist and sophomore M/A Kyle Comi (Allen, Texas) had three assists.

Centenary goalkeeper Thomas Siskron (Shreveport) played all 60 minutes and collected 17 saves and now has 138 saves this season and an impressive 259 career saves. Siskron added six ground balls on Sunday, Cook had three and freshman Matthew Lulich (New Orleans, La.) added two.

The Gents will remain on the road for their final two regular-season matches, facing Southwestern on Friday, April 2 at 7 p.m. and will close the season at Dallas on April 24 at 1 p.m.
