Former Centenary pitcher Seth Lugo looks to make NY Mets history on Independence Day as the Mets take on the NL East-leading Washington Nationals at 10 a.m.
Lugo, who tied the Mets' franchise record with his sixth-consecutive road win June 29 against the Miami Marlins, looks to break the record in Washington D.C. New York has also won 10-of-11 games, dating back to last season, when Lugo starts.
