LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference released the four-team bracket for the double elimination Baseball Tournament, which will take place this weekend, May 4-6, at The Depot in Cleburne, Texas.
Centenary, the top seed for the third time in four seasons, will take on fourth seeded Southwestern in the quarterfinals Friday at 1 p.m. It is a rematch of the first game of the 2017 SCAC Tournament, a Gents 6-4 win.

The other quarterfinal features a battle of nationally-ranked teams in Texas Lutheran and Trinity on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Centenary swept the Pirates earlier this season in Shreveport. After a 6-1 win in the series opener April 5, the Gents took a doubleheader on April 7 by scores of 6-5 and 8-0.
Regardless of the outcome in the quarterfinals, Centenary will take on either Texas Lutheran or Trinity Saturday afternoon. A win in the quarterfinals means a noon game on Saturday. If the Gents fall, they will play at 3:30 p.m.
If Centenary is 1-1 after its first two games of the tournament, it will take on the other 1-1 team on Saturday at 7 p.m.
The two remaining teams in the SCAC Tournament will play in the championship finals Sunday afternoon at noon.
