The Centenary baseball team's game against the Trinity University Tigers has been suspended in the bottom of the first inning on Saturday evening with the Diamond Gents leading 3-0 with two outs in an elimination game of the 2024 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship at La Moderna Field.

The No. 3 seed Diamond Gents (20-18) and No. 1 seed Tigers (31-11) will resume the game at Noon on Sunday.
