Columbus, Miss. - The Centenary women's golf team will tee it up on Monday and Tuesday in the MUW Invitational at Elm Lake Golf Course.

The two-day event, hosted by Mississippi University for Women, features 18 holes each day at the par-72, 5,900-yard course. Each round begins at 9 a.m. and results will be available on Golfstat. The Ladies are coming off of a fourth-place finish in their home tournament, the Hal Sutton Invitational, on March 22 at The Golf Club at Stonebridge in Bossier City. Inclement weather shortened the event to just 18 holes as they shot a 112-over par 400.

Freshman Kiley Smith (Fort Worth, Texas) led the way for the Ladies in the Hal Sutton with a 23-over par 95 and to finish 17th, senior Abigail Hayes (Plano, Texas) finished 18th after shooting a 26-over par 98, sophomore Madison Wing (Shreveport, La.) finished 21st after posting a 30-over par 102 and senior Lindsay Strohm (McKinney, Texas) shot a 33-over par 105 to finish 24th.

Smith earned her second-straight top-20 finish after placing 13th last week at the Pinecrest Invitational. Hayes recorded her 11th top-25 career finish and has now done so in eight of her last nine tournaments. She finished in the top 25 in all five tournaments that she played in last season and carried that success into her final season. Wing and Strohm each placed in the top 30 for the second-straight week.
