Dallas - The Centenary volleyball team finishes its season on the road this weekend as the Ladies will play three matches, beginning with a non-conference contest against the Dallas Christian College Lady Crusaders on Friday at 6 p.m.

The Ladies (10-21) finished off the home portion of their schedule in style on Tuesday night as they recorded a 3-0 sweep over the Louisiana Christian University Wildcats on Senior Night at the Gold Dome. The Lady Crusaders (8-19) are 4-5 at home this season and enter Friday's action on a six-game losing streak.

Centenary defeated LCU for the second time this season after also sweeping them back on Sept. 27 in Pineville. Centenary honored its three seniors - DS Mariah Martinez (San Antonio, Texas), MB Liz Lowe (San Antonio, Texas), and DS/L Jaycie Proctor (Paris, Texas) in a pregame ceremony. The Ladies finished 4-6 at home this season and have won 13 of their last 21 matches at the Gold Dome.

Centenary won the first set 25-19, took set two 25-21, and closed out the victory with a 27-25 win in set three. The Ladies' best hitting percentage came in set two (.394) followed by a .257 in the first set as they hit .202 overall. The Maroon and White totaled 52 digs, 41 kills, 40 assists, 12 block assists, and five service aces.

Proctor finished with a match-high 16 digs, Lowe had 12 with 14 kills, and Martinez tallied 10 along with a team-leading 20 assists. Proctor topped 500 career digs and now has an impressive 503 in her three seasons with the Ladies. Proctor topped 1,000 career kills at home versus Southern Arkansas back on Oct. 18 and ranks fourth all-time in the division III era (2011-present), is currently second in the conference in digs and in the top 25 in the country in all of division III. She is the career leader in digs per set (4.54)

Sophomore RS Jaylin St. Martin (New Orleans, La.) had a match-high 15 kills and hit a match-high .406. Senior S/RS Rachel Demerjian (Glendora, Calif.) had eight assists, six digs, and a kill. Lowe had a match-leading four aces with one assist and freshman MB Susi Curtis (Haslet, Texas) sang the national anthem for the second week in a row and then picked up a team-best four block assists with one kill.

Freshman S Meadow Smith (Mansfield, Texas) had eight assists and a dig and is now just nine digs away from reaching 200 in her impressive rookie season and sophomore DS Allana Scott-Daniels (Spring, Texas) added three digs. Sophomore MB Elizabeth Canady (League City, Texas) had five kills and junior MB/OH Robin Lemelle (Liberty, Texas) had two digs, one ace, and one kill.

Several Ladies are approaching impressive career marks as St. Martin is just 19 kills away from 500 in her young career and seven blocks away from reaching 100, Demerjian needs 10 aces to reach 100 and needs 96 more assists to reach 3,000.

Canady is just 34 kills away from 300 in her career, Lemelle is just three digs shy of reaching 300 for her career, and sophomore OH/DS Kiara Liedy (Sugar land, Texas) needs just 11 more digs to reach 300 with 2010 coming this season. Lowe sits at 650 career kills as she is currently seventh all time in the D3 era and ranks in the top 10 in the SCAC this season. She reached the 600-milestone versus Southern Arkansas. The Ladies currently rank in the top 15 in the country in division III in team digs with 1,839.

The Ladies will play their final two matches of the season on Saturday, a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contests, versus the host school, the University of Dallas Crusaders (Noon) and the Austin College 'Roos (3 p.m.).
